THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION
It is the responsibility of the Elevator Operator to transport guests between floors of the hotel tower. Provides assistance to guests, ensuring their safety and comfort. All duties are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate elevator to transport guests to their desired floors.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during their ride.
Maintain the condition of the elevator and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Respond to passenger inquiries and provide general information regarding the property.
Maintain a clean and orderly elevator environment.
Follow established protocols for emergency situations.
Communicate clearly, effectively and professionally via radio.
Maintain composure and demonstrate a professional and pleasant manner at all times.
Occasional property housekeeping duties, including but not limited to, vacuuming, transporting trash, mopping, etc.

Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
Effectively communicate in English, both in written and oral forms.
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to be in a confined space for an extended period of time.
Machinery or Work Equipment Used: Elevator control panel, intercom system, emergency alarm system.
