POSITION: MUSIC TEACHER AT GEORGE J MITCHELL SCHOOL

The ideal candidate will create an engaging, inclusive music program that builds fundamental skills while fostering appreciation for music. We’re seeking educators who:
~ Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
~ Build strong connections with students, families, and colleagues
~ Communicate effectively and collaborate within a dedicated school and VPA team
~ Bring creativity, energy, and a student-centered approach to teaching music
~ Must hold a Maine K-12 Music Teacher Certificate (614)
SALARY RANGE: $43,496.90 - $90,934.65 (2024-25 Salary Range, 2025-26 Teacher’s Contract in Negotiations)
