What you will do

  1. Track economic and political developments to help develop and refine our US economic outlook.
  2. Develop access to new data sets and support the analysis.
  3. Further develop macroeconomic and financial databases and automate related chart books.
  4. Support the research and other analytical work of regional economists on the team.

What you will bring

  1. B.A. or M.A. in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience focused on the US economy in a financial institution, central bank or think tank.
  3. Hands-on experience with macroeconomic and financial data.
  4. Strong econometric, data management and programming skills (e.g., Haver, Macrobond, Stata, Eviews, Python).
  5. High attention to detail.
  6. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  7. Capacity to work well both independently and as a team member.

Note : Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $140,000 to $155,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
