Sales and Use Tax Consultant
Our client, an AI technology company experiencing rapid growth, is seeking a Sales and Use Tax Consultant to support their finance team during a critical phase of expansion. 

The position is 100% remote and has an expected duration of 3–4 months.

Responsibilities:

• Clean up indirect tax data and ensure accuracy
• Work directly with local and state authorities to confirm proper registrations
• Implement and stand up sales and use tax systems and processes
• Manage all indirect tax issues and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to achieve compliance

Requirements:

• Sales and Use tax experience at the Manager to Director level
• Ability to be hands-on and execute detailed tasks
• Strong skills in setting up tax processes and systems
• Experience working with state/local authorities on tax compliance
• Ability to provide strategic recommendations for improvement
